Let's Talk Beauty: Ajali Handmade Naturals

Let's Talk Beauty: Ajali Handmade Naturals

Okay, so this was supposed to be a video, but God (and this internet) had other plans.

I heard about Ajali a few months ago and immediatelyhad to go to the site to check out what products were offered. I later went to the store and I was so impressed and excited, I wanted to try everything out.

I settled with the Body and Hair Butter Soufflé in Peppermint.

About Ajali:

AJALI is an all-natural, completely handmade cosmetics brand established in 2013 to promote local industry and create awareness for living a healthy lifestyle. Ajali believes that “beauty can be effective as well as pure and most importantly safe”. (ajali.com.ng) Ajali’s products as stated before are handmade, all-natural, handmade, and most importantly, made in Nigeria. Ajali is providing opportunities for local farmers and producers. This ultimately contributes to our agricultural sector here in Nigeria.

According to ajali.com.ng the Body and Hair Butter Souffle (peppermint)  is made with pure whipped shea and cocoa butter infused with organic essential oils. Whipped twice for a fluffy consistency, our signature soufflé melts instantly onto your skin for a smooth and luxurious finish. Use daily toskin, fade scarring and stretch marks and provide mild sun protection.

This product is fragranced with organic essential oils and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. (ajali.com.ng)

So here’s what I loved:

1.) The scent

I love the smell of peppermint and I love the way I smell when I wear it.

2.) The texture

It is soo lightweight and what is so amazing is that although it has a shea butter base, it doesn't get hard when it’s gold or super liquidy when it warms. I also love that I don't have to “warm it up” between my hands, it saves me a lot of time in the morning, because I am literally ALWAYS in a rush.

3.) Its lasting power

I only apply the soufflé once a day and it lasts me for most of the day.

4.) The packaging

I love the packaging of the product for a few reasons, I can reuse the jar for other storing purposes and I love the jar seal; it’s very secure. (I have accidentally had my finger snapped when closing it)

5.) The price

for N6,000($20), you are going to get something that will last you for almost a month.

6.) It’s great for your hair

When diluted with water.

Keep these things in mind:

1.) It tingles

This is literally the only drawback of the product. If you’re sensitive to tingly sensations, I would recommend another one, such as Radiant Glow.

Ajali offers worldwide delivery.

Thinking about trying it out? I think you should.

Thanks for reading. Love you. Bye.
